In addition to civil actions, Mr. Haga’s criminal practice
(including traffic) covers the full range of representation of clients
charged with misdemeanors and/or felonies. He has handled thousands of

Mr. Haga has
extensive trial experience in
both State and Federal Courts. Before initially filing a lawsuit for a
client, he attempts, on their behalf, to settle their case through
negotiation and/or mediation.
Furthermore, Mr. Haga has represented clients in over one hundred criminal and civil jury trials. He has
successfully argued cases before the Virginia Supreme Court. Mr. Haga
represents clients throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. Steve
Baker will be working with Mr. Haga on all cases involving personal
injury/negligence, medical malpractice and products
liability. Mr. Haga and Mr. Baker participate in each and
every jury trial.
Mr. Haga attended the University of Richmond for both his undergraduate
and law degrees. He received his Masters in Business Administration
(MBA) from Virginia Commonwealth University while in law school at The
University of Richmond. After graduation from law school he opened a
law office in Christiansburg, Virginia and began teaching at Virginia
Tech. He taught courses at Virginia Tech for twenty-two (22) years in the
subjects of Business Law, Insurance, and Wills and Estates.
In 2004, Mr. Haga purchased the law building he currently occupies,
located next to Christiansburg High School. Mr. Haga’s firm, known as The
Haga Law Firm, PLC, will be adding other lawyers to the firm in the near
future. It is expected that the law firm will grow. Currently, the firm
employs three (3) lawyers with a staff of three (3).
Mr. Haga (57) lives with his wife in Christiansburg, Virginia. They
have four (4) children, who all graduated from Christiansburg High School
and are currently enrolled in, or have graduated from, college.
